Mikkel's Baptism

We celebrated Mikkel's baptism last week in another small, intimate, ceremony with 2 other families baptizing their littles.  Welcome to the world of Catholicism Mikkel!

How tenderly He loves them, the children of this earth.
How carefully He guides them, from the moment of their birth.
How lovingly He looks upon them sweet and fair.
May He always keep our little one safe within His care.

I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.

John  6:35

some snippets of our ceremony below...

^^ Father James Hughes; passionate, lively, funny, his sermon's make sense. Even though i'm always stuck in the "crying room" with noisy and busy kids, he always captures my attention!
Get involved at St. Patrick's Parish^^

^^ honouring the mama's! ^^

^^ moment of truth ^^

and some action shots while watching Paw Patrol....

^^ 2 kids looking at the camera!? Definitely was a blessed day! ^^

^^ Mikkel was not a fan of Iron Man ^^

^^ someone give me a caption for this! ^^

^^ my sweet babies <3 <3 ^^

Max's shirt is called a Barong- it's the filipino version of a tuxedo most often worn at weddings and special occasions. Mikkel's is also somewhat of a barong, which i've only really seen at baptisms (babies are supposed to wear white/cream). Mikkel's dress was actually used by Max for his ceremony. Max's baptism in 2012 can be seen HERE.
